The Comfort Company finalizes 2010 “SIT” Educational Seminar Schedule.
Bozeman, MT – June 11th 2010 – For a third consecutive year The Comfort Company is proud to announce they will be hosting five separate seating clinics to be instructed by world renowned Swedish Therapist Bengt Engström,. These clinics will focus on a number of topics including: basic seating principles, wheelchair seating systems, pressure mapping, and how to design and adapt seating systems for individual patients. CEU approved clinics will be held as follows:
- Seminar 1: October 11 – Pittsburg, PA (Live online podcast also available)
- Seminar 2: October 12 – Syracuse, NY
- Seminar 3: October 13 – Charlotte, NC
- Seminar 4: October 14 – Arlington, TX
- Seminar 5: October 15 – Brookfield, WI

Elizabeth Stevens Joins The Comfort Company as its Clinical/Educational Director.Bozeman, MT – July 1, 2009 – The Comfort Company is proud to announce that Elizabeth Stevens will be representing The Comfort Company as its Clinical/Educational Director.
Ms. Stevens, M.A, OTR/L , ATP, has extensive seating and mobility experience with a wide variety of populations and diagnoses. She has authored and presented seminars on various assistive technology subjects around the United States and at major trade events. An occupational therapist for over 11 years, she has worked in school systems, skilled nursing and long term care settings, hospitals, and for a leading durable medical equipment manufacturer. Her educational training, experience in the provision of seating and mobility products and her passion for providing her clients with the greatest possible functional independence, has given her the knowledge to provide detailed educational advice to be utilized by other medical professionals. She will continue to develop and grow The Comfort Company’s educational department which offers CEU approved courses.

The Comfort Company Teams With ROC Wheels- Providing mobility to underprivileged children in developing countriesBozeman, MT – April 1st, 2008 – The Comfort Company recently formed a strategic partnership with ROC Wheels with the goal of providing seating solutions to underprivileged children in developing countries. With continuous donations of seating and positioning products, The Comfort Company is able to contribute to the millions of less fortunate children in developing countries. Founded in July of 2004, ROC Wheels is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide wheelchairs and other mobility products to children in developing countries without regard to political affiliation, religious beliefs or ethnic identity.
